Class Schedule
Currently we do not have scheduled group class times offered at our fitness studio. We primarily have private groups using the space at this time. If you would like to work with an instructor 1:1 or in a small group, please contact us & we can see if we can find a way to work together. We also have options to rent our fitness space if you or a group of your fitness friends would like to use the space together. Again, please contact us if this is something you are interested in! Additionally, we work hand-in-hand with Montevideo Community Education for the EVOLVE program at the middle school.
Our Goals at Cornerstone Fitness

- We think a support network is key to health & fitness, and making ANY change in our lives. No matter your fitness background, we want you to know that we are here to help!
- We believe that fitness should be enjoyable and we hope to help you find enjoyment in the process of learning more about fitness & what works well for YOU!
General Descriptions of Types of Classes Offered:
Athleticism Training:
These sessions are for youth of all ages and we focus on the pillars of athleticism including balance, flexibility, endurance, strength, explosiveness, speed & agility. All ability levels are welcome at these sessions, as we can individualize the training for different kids. If you are a coach or booster club that would like to arrange customized sessions for a specific team, just contact us!
Resistance/ Strength Training:
In these sessions, we will first make sure you are using exceptional form to protect your muscles & joints. Some people may need to use lower weight & high repetitions; others will use higher weight and low repetitions. Many others will fall somewhere in the middle. We can help guide you to that determination depending on your health and fitness goals.
Low Impact Yoga & Stretching:
These sessions will include a variety of movements to support your overall flexibility and mental wellbeing. We will guide you through taking your different joints through their full range of motion since many of us don’t do this on a daily basis. We will also include some breathing exercises to expand the lungs, slow the breath and support relaxation.
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training):
We use a personalized approach to our HIIT classes. You will be doing primarily body weight exercises for the workouts. Those who are ready & who desire to may add some additional weight or band resistance to the movements. The rest periods are also personalized so you can chose when you have reached maximum exertion, which may be different than the person next to you. We also can give beginner modifications for all movements & exercises.
If you would like to see something offered, just send us a message!

Christa Landmark
Starting off on a health and fitness journey in 2017, Christa has spent the last 4+ years learning how to properly fuel her body and move in a way that not only helps with fat loss, but also helps in feeling good overall. Christa shares “Prior to starting this journey, I had been constantly hungry, yet not seeing any weight loss, had a constant stomach ache, poor sleep quality despite having the time to sleep 8+ hours a night, and major guilt any time I consumed any form of splurge food. After switching to a clean eating diet and adding HIIT style workouts I finally saw body changes, no longer dealt with stomach aches, bad sleep, and also learned how to moderately enjoy the foods I loves without feeling guilty!”
The freedom, confidence, and overall feeling of wellbeing are something Christa strives to help other women figure out how to achieve. Figuring out the right combination of activity and nutrition took some research, trial and error, and time. Using the knowledge she’s acquired, along with passion to help women feel better inside and out, she is excited to be your fitness coach!
